A nationalist organisation has accused the Island's Chamber of Commerce of 'plumbing an all-time low' with attacks on a minimum wage rise.
The Celtic League took to Facebook after the chamber called for government to rethink the 9.9 per cent rise following a review into how the figure is calculated.
In its post, the League accused the body of what it described as 'greed over need', saying the chamber wants government to ignore the needs of the working poor.
And it also praised Tynwald for addressing what it calls 'deep-seated social injustice'.
