Celebrations are taking place this weekend to mark 140 years of the Douglas Horse Trams.
Numerous events are taking place including an anniversary cavalcade of 10 trams travelling down the promenades at 4pm tomorrow.
There will also be guided tours of the tram stables and a double decker service pulled by a pair of horses.
Director of public transport Ian Longworth says their longevity really is something to be celebrated:
