The Manx Missile's set to ride as Knight Commander in the two-day Tour de France Criterium November 9 and 10.
He was knighted earlier this month at a ceremony at Windsor Castle for 'his outstanding contribution to the sport of cycling.'
Cav said on his knighthood that he 'is very fortunate' to have done what he loves.
It will be his final race before he retires after winning 165 races since 2005.
