Cycling superstar Mark Cavendish has spoken of his immense pride in Manx sport.
The Tour de France legend was named the Island’s sporting ambassador for 2012 last week as fellow cyclist Peter Kennaugh was named sportsman of the year.
27-year-old Cav burst on the world stage when he won Commonwealth gold for the Isle of Man in the 2006 Melbourne Games.
