Will Cav Re-Write the History Books?
Today Manx cyclist Mark Cavendish has the chance to become only the second Briton in history to win the Green Jersey at one of the major cycling tours.
He has twice narrowly avoided clinching the points jersey in the Tour De France, and goes into today’s final race of the Tour of Spain 12 points clear of Tyler Farrar.
Today will finish in a sprint, allowing Cav to showcase what is undeniably his strongest asset.
He has clinched three victories in the tour so far and a win today for the HTC Columbia rider would mark his place in the history books.
