Mark Cavendish wears the yellow jersey for the first time after winning stage one in the Tour de France yesterday.
On twitter this morning the Manxman said it was an 'unbelievable moment' and he will 'wear his yellow jersey with pride'.
Cavendish won the 188km first stage at Utah Beach making it his 27th stage win beating out 198 other riders for the top spot.
Mark has also been selected to represent Team GB in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games this summer.
