Mark Cavendish stormed to victory in this afternoon's 13th stage of the Tour de France, pipping rival Peter Sagan to the line.
It was the Laxey man's second stage win of this year's event and sees him move joint third on the list of all-time le Tour stage wins.
Cavendish has endured a mixed Tour this year and was beaten to the line yesterday by Marcel Kittel.
Speaking after the race, the 28-year-old paid tribute to his team-mates and said the strong crosswind at the end had made the sprint finish especially tough.
