Cav\'s Form Improves in Tough Tour
Despite slipping down the finishing order after his initial victory in day one of the Tour of California Mark Cavendish is currently leading the sprinters points competition.
Besides from the opening day the route of the tour doesn’t best suit Cav’s trademark Sprinting style, he finished 89th in General Classification yesterday.
He currently sits half an hour behind the overall race leader.
Today’s stage again will be testing for Cav with a major hill climb lasting just over 30 miles.
Cav has stated his main ambition for this season is to secure the green jersey at the Tour De France.
