All Eyes on Mark Cavendish to Clinch a Gold for the Island
Mark Cavendish will be looking to cap off his 2010 season with success in Delhi today as he represents the Isle of Man in the road race event.
All eyes will be on the Manxman after a largely positive season, which improved as it went on.
He’ll be missing his strongest team-mate Peter Kennaugh, who withdrew from the Games amid concerns for his health and safety, it’s expected that Cav will be heavily marked throughout the race, going into it as one of the strong favourites for the win.
Cav represents the Island’s best hope of clinching a gold at the games.
