The Department of Infrastructure says it'll be replacing cats' eyes around the Island in a major improvement scheme.
Contractors will remove around 1,600 of the road studs and install around 8,500 new ones will be fitted.
The work will be carried out on around 50 miles of road, starting with Fishers Hill near Gansey.
The road will close from 9.30am to 3.30pm from Monday, July 15 to Friday, July 19 - although the DOI says it will probably only need the closure for two days.
