Coastguards, firefighters, police, paramedics, lifeboat volunteers and a helicopter all attended an incident on Marine Drive yesterday.
Details are not yet known - however it's been confirmed there was an RTC and one casualty was airlifted to Noble's for further treatment.
It happened just before 4pm following multiple 999 calls with emergency services stating it was made 'more difficult' having to follow Covid restrictions.
The public are being asked not to speculate on the cause of this incident.
It took around 5 hours in total until teams were able to stand down.
