A key figure of the Castletown community has been recognised for his work with an award.
David Collister was presented with the Derek Nicholson Castletown Community Spirit Award for his services to the town at a presentation on TT day in the town last Friday.
Among his work, Mr Collister is a founding member of the World Tin Bath Championships, has served 55 years as a Southern 100 Marshall and as a volunteer fireman with Castletown Fire Brigade for 35 years.
The trophy itself is in memory of former Southern 100 Club President Derek Nicholson who passed away in 2017.
