This year's Castletown Confetti Carnival has been cancelled.
The annual festival was due to be held on Saturday, August 1.
However, festival committee chairman Rachael Keyes has confirmed the event will no longer go ahead.
A statement reads "The Committee have unfortunately made the decision due to the current coronavirus Pandemic to cancel this year's Castletown Festival and Confetti Carnival."
She adds although it will be a disappointment for many, the Festival will be back bigger and better next year.
