The chair of Castletown Commissioners says she won't be able to go to a public meeting about the planned closure of Market Square.
Beth Cannan announced on Facebook she had prior commitments which meant she wouldn't be able to go to the gathering on Thursday, November 28 in Morton Hall on Victoria Road.
She says the board has offered to meet former MHKs who arranged the meeting but says there'll be no special consideration for those who didn't choose to stand for re-election.
Mrs Cannan says the local authority's next public meeting is open to the public and takes place on December 2.
