Two of the Island's Shoprite stores are closing this evening before re-opening as Tesco in a few month's time.
Douglas and Castletown Shoprites will shut at 9pm as part of the Island wide takeover.
Castletown's store is expected to re-open as a Tesco in February, followed by Douglas in March.
Plans are for five new Tesco Superstores and four Express stores, bringing the total number on the Island to ten.
