Plans for a 20mph zone in the centre of Castletown have gone on display in the ancient capital.
The DOI has developed the proposals in collaboration with Castletown Commissioners, with the department saying it's the latest step in a project which will see similar zones brought in for more town centres and residential areas across the Isle of Man.
The plans will be available to view at the commissioners' office on Farrants Way between 8.30am and 5pm from today until Thursday, and then from 8.30am to 4.30pm on Friday.
Meanwhile, the project manager will be available at the exhibition to take questions tomorrow between 10am to 2pm and then again on Friday from Noon until 4pm.
Officials add anyone who wants to discuss the initiative or needs more information and can't attend the exhibition should contact 686 450 or e-mail andrew.gray@gov.im.
