The business case for finishing the horse tram tracks is under final review, with the Department of Infrastructure hoping to submit it to Tynwald soon.
That's according to Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall, in response to a Tynwald question for written reply from Douglas North MHK John Wanneburgh.
Mr Wannenburgh wanted to know why the case for the horse trams was separated from the Tramway Terrace restoration project.
The minister said it was to avoid delays, as the DOI had needed to find a contractor qualified to do a specialist assessment on the building on Douglas prom.
