A newly refurbished care home in Ballasalla is welcoming its first new resident this week.
Silverdale Care Home - previously Abbotswood Nursing home underwent a £1.2 million refurbishment, which was completed last month.
The home is now accepting new admissions over the next few months and is expecting to have 63 new residents by Easter 2022.
