A care home in Douglas has closed to visitors following a Covid-19 outbreak.
In a post on social media, Salisbury Street Care Home announced the measure will be in place for the next 2 weeks.
Visiting will be allowed on compassionate grounds and managed on a case by case basis.
In a letter - the registered manage of the home says the decision 'hasn't been taken lightly' but the health and safety of residents and staff remains its main priority.
