The cardboard recycling service in Garff has been withdrawn due to ongoing contamination from other materials.
The provider says it can no longer deliver the free service as it can't continue to incur the cost of separating and paying for the disposal of other materials.
General waste and other objects being mixed in with the cardboard has apparently been an ongoing issue.
Garff Commissioners will be considering the situation at their next meeting.
