Firefighters were called to a property in Peel after suspected carbon monoxide.
The occupant of the house on Shore Road wasn't feel well and asked for an ambulance and fire crews.
When emergency services arrived they isolated the gas supply to the boiler and vented the property - which took around half an hour.
The fire service is stressing the importance of having gas appliances regularly serviced and having a carbon monoxide detector.
