Police have seized a car during their annual winter checks campaign.
Officers say the vehicle had no insurance, a bald tyre and a tax disc for another vehicle.
It comes following nearly every vehicle stopped by the Island's police earlier this week having defects.
Authorities are reminding drivers to make sure their cars are roadworthy - unless they want penalty points, a fine or in cases such as these - their vehicle seized.
