Fire crews spent around an hour dealing with a car crash in Union Mills last night.
The Island's Fire and Rescue Service says the incident happened shortly before 10pm.
One vehicle was involved, and its driver was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Firefighters helped isolate the battery and make the scene safe.
