A Manx Statue dedicated to a key Island figure is soon set to return to the south of the Island.
The bronze art work of Manxman Captain John Quilliam - which is usually based at the Quarterdeck in Castletown, was moved for conservation work late last year.
In the House of Keys sitting last month - MHK for Arbory, Castletown and Malew Jason Moorhouse asked about the statue and why it was removed.
In response, Enterprise Minister Lawrie Hooper revealed the sculpture will be returned to Castletown this year.
The sculpture depicts Captain Quilliam in uniform and commemorates his role as the most famous Manxman to have participated in the Battle of Trafalgar.
