Works on a road in Douglas are expected to take up to five weeks, with closures and diversions in place.
The Department of Infrastructure plans to resurface York Road between the junctions with Woodbourne Road and Ballaquayle Road, and upgrade a pedestrian crossing.
Works will start on Monday July 24 and are thought to be finished by Friday August 25.
Pedestrian and emergency services access will be maintained, with residential parking limited.
Parking on Withington Road will also be suspended to facilitate the diversion of buses.
