An MHK says he believes government shouldn’t have committed to supporting a new wind farm project on the Island.
It’s after Prowind UK revealed plans to build five turbines in Jurby.
Yesterday Alf Cannan asked the Chief Minister to outline the Council of Minister’s policy on onshore wind production.
Allan Bell said the proposal is at a very early stage and it would be a long time before CoMIN looked at it in depth.
However Mr Cannan says he doesn’t think it’s been thought through properly:
