An unsuccessful General Election candidate has slammed government for what he's described as 'gross negligence'.
Andrew Barton - who was standing for Garff - took to Facebook yesterday to share his thoughts on the election process.
He claimed during a re-count in the constituency, on Thursday night, that another ballot box that 'had been forgotten was found' describing that as a 'gross lack of attention to detail'.
He also cited a mistake with polling cards, problems with an electronic revised register as well as nomination forms with signature boxes missing.
The two candidates who secured a seat in the area were Martyn Perkins and Daphne Caine.
