Cancer survivors called upon to shape cancer care on Island

Cancer survivors are being asked to help restructure services on the Island. 

Island charity Macmillan is appealing for people with first-hand experience of the disease to join a 12-strong 'Patient Panel' to aid look for 'best practice'.  
 
It would work alongside the Cancer Board, representatives from the Department of Health and Social Care and the voluntary sector to improve the 'cancer journey' here.
 
Leslie Johnson is the project lead, she says important issues are in need of attention:
