Cancer Patient Survey has deadline extended to allow for more respondents

Minister for Health David Anderson says it’s hoped the results of the survey will provide real insight into the patient experience.

A survey geared toward shaping the future of cancer services on the Isle of Man has had its deadline extended.

The Cancer Patient Survey was targeted at a total of 340 patients who have recently undergone cancer treatment.

So far there has been a 55% uptake, whereas this is an encouraging statistic the Department of Health are encouraging more people to make use of the extension and submit their responses.

Minister for Health David Anderson says it’s hoped the results of the survey will provide real insight into the patient experience.

The results of the survey will be available for publication in early 2012.
