A Douglas woman who’s undergoing treatment for cervical cancer is appealing for the public’s help so that she can spend more time with her family.
26-year-old Grace Teare is currently having radiotherapy and chemotherapy at Clatterbridge Hospital in England.
She’s launched a fundraising campaign to try and cover the cost of her partner and two-year-old son visiting her while she spends the next 12 weeks in hospital.
The initiative is being run through the local crowdfunding website - letscrowdit.com - and more than £600 of the £3,000 target has already been raised.
