Braddan Commissioners want to include campervans in plans for a campsite at The Roundhouse during the TT fortnight.
Clerk Colin Whiteway told the board a planning application's been submitted for 53 tents and provisionally six campervans on the site.
Centre Manager Cassi McAllister said there could be a no hitch rule for electricity, which she confirmed other campsites use.
She added that a plan for sewage disposal would need to be arranged.
Mr Whiteway confirmed a meeting has been arranged with Union Mills Football Club to see if the two organisations can work together.
