Plans to build a new multi-storey car park, library and office space in Douglas are ‘dead in the water’.
Douglas Council says it’s disappointed that its regeneration plans for Cambrian Place have been blocked.
It’s after the Department of Infrastructure turned down the council’s plans to borrow the funding and purchase the land.
As a result the land owner has removed the land from sale meaning no development will take place.
