Plans to increase the island's minimum wage should be phased-in.
That's the latest from the Chamber of Commerce which says an April deadline doesn't give local businesses enough time to adapt.
It comes after survey found 24% of local businesses were fine with the timeline but 49% were not.
Tynwald will asked to approve a rise of £1.25 to bring the island's minimum wage in line with the UK rate of £9.50 per hour.
The island's minimum wage has remained the same (£8.25) since 2019 but in the UK it was increased to £9.50 last year.
