There are calls for the Isle of Man to return to the days of booming trade in town centres where small retailers can thrive.
Customer trends have seen a shift from high street shopping with more people preferring to buy items online.
Smaller stores are also dealing with the effects of a turbulent 12 months that have seen coronavirus restrictions disrupt their business.
