The Department of Infrastructure says its gritters are out treating road surfaces with the threat of fresh snow tonight.
With icy conditions persisting across the Island's road network, gritters from highway services have been out since the early hours.
The DOI says road salt is being laid in problem areas and bins are being refilled.
But it says if a salt bin near you has been emptied, people can contact the customer service team on 850000.
