Buying locally this Christmas should be at the forefront of everyone’s mind.
That’s according to the Office of Fair Trading which says buying goods in the Island helps protect local businesses, jobs and the economy.
The OFT says it's also easier to obtain refunds and exchanges - avoiding postal costs.
Advice centre manager Andrea Tabb says the advantages of shopping here are greater than buying online:
