A busy road in Onchan will be made one way for road works next week.
Avondale Road will be one way between 9am and 4 on Thursday, October 30.
The planned work is by Manx Telecom, which is installing fibre ducting.
A temporary one way system means traffic can only turn down the road, with a diversion via Governors Road.
