Firefighters say they had a busy night last night, with a number of incidents across the Island.
They freed a driver trapped in their car after a crash in Foxdale left the vehicle lying on its side – the motorist was treated by an ambulance crew.
Then shortly after 11pm a shed caught fire in Willaston, sparking another callout as crews tackled the flames before they could spread to nearby buildings.
And at 4.25am, Douglas firefighters rushed to the Snugborough Industrial Estate after an automated fire alarm went off: however, it turned out to be a false alarm.
