Fire crews around the Island had a busy day yesterday - with four incidents in just over an hour and a half.
Port Erin firefighters were called to a field just after 7.30pm when a firework sparked a grass fire.
Half an hour later, Laxey crews sprang into action when a chimney caught light at a house in the village.
Castletown and Douglas crews were called shortly after 8pm after a van crashed off the road on the New Castletown Road near Fairy Bridge and burst into flames.
And at 9pm, crews from Douglas were in action again - they spent two hours tackling a grass fire on King Edward Road on the former Howstrake Holiday Camp site.
Nobody was hurt in any of the incidents.
