A businessman facing fraud charges over a £13 million airline buyout has been bailed.
Jason Gerard Scales of Douglas Road in Ballasalla appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 28 year old denies one count of fraud by false representation and two of making articles for use in fraud between May and June 2021.
The charges relate to allegations he used forged letters from the Department of Enterprise and the government’s chief secretary during a proposed purchase of Stobart Air and Carlisle Lake District Airport.
He was bailed in the sum of £2,500 to appear in court again on January 19.
