Businesses are being told to remain wary about receiving bogus invoices.
Isle of Man Bank says a number of local firms have reported receiving fake invoices from hackers who may have stolen company or customer e-mails.
The bank is advising organisations to check any such requests with suppliers or customers before sending any funds.
Those wanting more information on the matter are being invited to contact IOM Bank on 637 290 or Action Fraud at www.actionfraud.police.uk .
