Businesses shutting over new Covid alert

Businesses across the Island are shutting this afternoon following a new Covid-19 alert today.

Government is highly recommending establishments to shut their doors today as a precaution following the discovery of two unexplained Coronavirus cases.

Among those now closed as a safety measure are Jaks Bar and Smokehouse, The Front Porch, The Palace Cinema and Elite Fitness.

Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, has stated further guidance and details around the situation will be given tomorrow (February 28).
