Business community urged to send a ShelterBox

Businesses are being encouraged to sponsor a "ShelterBox" in the on-going effort to support people in Nepal.

Aid agencies are in a race against time to help hundreds of thousands of people who've been displaced as a result of the earthquake. 
 
Rotary clubs on the Island have joined the effort encouraging people to donate towards the boxes which cost £590.
 
They are packed full of life saving essentials including a tent, ground sheets, blankets and water purification equipment. 
 
Spokesman Nigel Dobson says people will be able to see how their donation helps:
