Bus strike called off

We’ve just had word in that tomorrow’s planned bus strike has been postponed.

The Department of Community Culture and Leisure received notification from the Unite the Union’s Regional Officer that the plans had been scrapped.

As yet no more details as to why this has happened have been released, but it means all services will operate as normal tomorrow.

The DCCL say they are hopeful it will be a chance to continue negotiations to reach an amicable settlement.
