The Manx Utilities Authority says it's carrying out emergency repairs on a water main in Laxey.
In a post on Facebook, the MUA says the main has burst at the junction of Baldhoon Road and Main Road.
Its workers are currently at the scene.
Traffic lights are in operation while the work is carried out.
