The number of burglaries this Christmas has fallen dramatically.
In figures released by police today, there were seven burglaries over Christmas compared to twenty one the same time the year before.
Police have credited the drop to the anti burglary campaign ran over the festive period.
Throughout December known offenders were given a warning notice to let them know that they were being monitored.
During the campaign, ten people were arrested and five are due to appear in court later this month.
