The Department of Education and Children is concerned about the level of bullying in schools - and may collect data on the problem centrally in future.
In the House of Keys yesterday departmental member Ann Corlett faced questions about the problem.
Garff MHK, and Children's Champion, Daphne Caine pointed out a recent report said almost one in five young people didn't feel the issue was being dealt with properly by schools.
