A 21 year old girl from Port St Mary has won a scholarship to study in America next year.
Bronte Wright will jet off to Idaho in August 2018, after being awarded the Ella Olesen scholarship by the Department of Education, Sport and Culture.
The scholarship is awarded each year to a female degree student.
Bronte says she hopes the opportunity will give her a chance to gain a broader understanding of how different countries tackle global issues.
