The lifeboat was launched yesterday to rescue a broken down fishing boat.
Ramsey lifeboat was called out yesterday (Tuesday) after a fishing boat, with two crew members onboard, broke down four miles from the Point of Ayre.
It happened at around 14:20 (BST).
The fishing boat was towed back to Ramsey Harbour, there were no injuries.
An RNLI spokesman warned that even with experienced crew and the best preparations, you cannot rule out all eventualities.
