The Broadway junction in Douglas will close for up to five weeks from Monday, September 30.
It's while work is carried out as part of the Douglas Promenade refurbishment, and will see the traffic lights there replaced with a simple 'Stop' sign and the return of a right-turn for southbound traffic.
Officials say pedestrian access between the promenade and Broadway will remain open and two-way traffic will remain on the Promenade itself during that time.
Diversions will also be in place for the duration of the initiative.
